NEW OIL UNIT VACUUM ASSISTED (BLUE HOSE)

*Vacuum assisted is our latest model. It can be identified by the vacuum noise it makes while its switched on. It also has a valve type stainless steel nozzle.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES REMEDIES
Motor not working
Faulty extention cord
Try a different cord that is known to work.
Motor not working

Try a different powerpoint.

Faulty motor, brushes worn out
Call office for assistance to change unit over.
Motor making loud noise
Brushes are worn out

Motor cover has come off

Valve handle has come off
Loose locknut
Retighten locknut with pliers/spanner. Ask driver for assistance, otherwise call office for assistance.
Leaking unit
Nozzle is facing down
Recoil hose back into the unit following the curve. Positioning the nozzel facing up.

Loose hose clamp
Call office for assistance to change unit over. If possible, place cardboard under unit to absorb oil.

Clear PVC hose has shrunk
Call office for assistance to change unit over. If possible, place cardboard under unit to absorb oil.

Unit has been overfilled
The driver may have overfilled unit. Oil has been sucked through intake pipe and may leak a little bit until the oil has expelled from the pipe. If possible, place cardboard under unit to absorb oil.

Call office for assistance to change unit over. If possible, place cardboard under unit to absorb oil.

NEW OIL UNIT PUMP ASSISTED (BLUE HOSE)

*Pump assisted is the older style model. It can be identified by its plastic pistol style nozzle and quiet operation.

Motor not working, making a humming noise
Bearings on pump are stuck
Call office for assistance to change unit over.
Motor not working

The airlock pump has air in the system
While in operation press the nozzle open/close rapidly until the air has expelled from the pump. This may take 2 – 3 mins. Be aware that the oil may suddenly start to come out. Be careful not to make a mess.

WASTE OIL UNIT (BLACK HOSE)

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES REMEDIES
Unit not sucking
Blocked hose
Lift black hose up and insert something flexible at least 2 meters. Hitting the black hose near the elbow with a heavy object may loosen the blockage. Ask driver for assistance, otherwise, call office for assistance to unblock or to change unit over.
Unit not sucking
Lid is not latched tight
Inspect the 2 latches on the front if they are in the correct position. If they are loose, tighten clockwise.
Unit not sucking
Silicone seal on Lid has failed
Call office for assistance to change unit over.
Unit leaking waste oil
Oil has dripped from the nozzle down to the bottom tray
Clean nozzle after use. Clean bottom tray with a rag. If possible, place cardboard under unit to absorb oil.
Unit leaking waste oil
Overfilled and oil has been sucked through intake pipe
Oil has been sucked through the intake pipe and may leak a little bit until the oil has expelled from the pipe. Run unit for approx 2-3 mins until the oil has been removed. If possible, place cardboard under unit to absorb oil.

Call office for assistance to change unit over. If possible, place cardboard under unit to absorb oil.

FILTER MACHINE UNIT (BLUE HOSE)

Blocked pipe
Use the vacuum unit to clean the inside removing all crumbs.

Not enough oil has gone to pump
Tilt the machine back so more oil reaches the pump.

LARGE STYLE FILTER MACHINE UNIT ("SILENCER") (BLUE AND BLACK HOSES)
